Anita Tang, speech pathologist therapist

Your speech therapist

Anita Tang is a Speech Pathologist based in Sydney with over 10 years experience working in both community and private speech pathology settings. She has experience working with children from 2-18 years old, helping them to develop their articulation, language, literacy, fluency, and social skills. Anita also has experience working with children with disabilities. She is a bilingual therapist, fluent in both English and Cantonese and can also speak some basic Mandarin. Anita believes in working together with parents, teachers, and other allied health professionals to provide the best care and support for children.

Assessments and screening

We offer services to assess and screen your child for communication difficulties

Individual and group therapy

Depending on your circumstances and the therapy goals, we can cater to individual or group sessions

Pre-school and school visits

You don’t need to go out of your way to get therapy, we’ll visit your child at a place that they’re familiar with

Online Telehealth sessions

If you’re not in a position to see a speech pathologist in person, we also specialise in online sessions

What we can help with

  • Receptive language refers to the understanding of language (e.g. following instructions, understanding questions, and vocabulary).

  • Expressive language refers to the use of language (e.g. grammar, sentence structure, and use of vocabulary).

  • Speech refers to the pronunciation and articulation of sounds in words.

  • Fluency refers to the smoothness and continuity in a child’s speech. Children with difficulties with fluency may stutter.

  • Pragmatics refers to the social skills that we use everyday with those around us (e.g. body language, greetings, and conversational skills).

  • Literacy refers to skills involving spelling and reading.
